Dolly Girl is characterized as a floral fruity perfume, but also has a hint of clean ocean breeze. The base notes consist of amber, musk, raspberry and essence of teak creating a woody floral basis for the scent. The heart notes and the essence of the scent itself include magnolias, roses, lily of the valley, jasmine, Sea Breeze, Lantana Flower, and White Muguet. The top notes give the fruity underlying scent to the clean exotic floral scent and include Bergamot, melon, apple, and cinnamon.

The American bottle is the head of a feminine figure in pink matte glass. The eyes, cheeks and lips are accentuated with deep pink color so they stand out. The long neck is the base of the bottle and keeps the portions together with the sprayer cover on top of her head. The French Dolly Girl bottle is similar, but is white glass and beautifully painted face.

The French version is a limited edition bottle and is available in 30 ml (1 oz) and 50 ml (1.7oz) eau de toilette spray. The American version of Dolly Girl is available in 1 fluid ounce, 1.7 fluid ounce and 2.5 fluid ounce bottles of the eau de toilette spray. It is also available in a 6.8 fluid ounce bottle in the form of Shower and Bath Gel and Lotion. This allows for layering of the scent to make it last all day.
