Anna Sui Perfume Dolly Girl

Anna Sui Dolly Girl perfume was the 2003 creation of Anna Sui, that was the fourth fragrance in her perfume line. Anna Sui started her venture in fragrance industry in 1999, and this scent is just as wonderful as the first. Dolly Girl perfume has been released in the United States and in France, and has been well received in both countries.

This is a scent that makes the wearer feel like a child again. The child that loved to play and dress up in grown up clothes and pretended she was a star. It is whimsical and fun, with a hint of clean sophistication and an undertone of the bold and sexy woman living today.

Dolly Girl is characterized as a floral fruity perfume, but also has a hint of clean ocean breeze. The base notes consist of amber, musk, raspberry and essence of teak creating a woody floral basis for the scent. The heart notes and the essence of the scent itself include magnolias, roses, lily of the valley, jasmine, Sea Breeze, Lantana Flower, and White Muguet. The top notes give the fruity underlying scent to the clean exotic floral scent and include Bergamot, melon, apple, and cinnamon.

The American bottle is the head of a feminine figure in pink matte glass. The eyes, cheeks and lips are accentuated with deep pink color so they stand out. The long neck is the base of the bottle and keeps the portions together with the sprayer cover on top of her head. The French Dolly Girl bottle is similar, but is white glass and beautifully painted face.
